With more than 20 years of experience in coaching and choreographing at European, World and Olympic level, Romain Haguenauer has worked and led generations of skaters to the top of their sport.
Former Ice dancer of the French National team, former French National coach, Romain Haguenauer, born and raised in Lyon, moved to Montreal in July 2014 and co-founded the Ice Academy of Montreal.
  “Ice Skating - Ice Dance in particular, is my passion since I was 8 years old. I was 20 when I decided to turn my passion into my job and still today, I love to push my students to give their best technically, to produce beauty and expression, to reach their goal, to reach gold.”
One of the world’s most recognized Ice Dance choreographers and coaches, Romain is a former ice dancer himself, competing at Junior World Championships with his sister. At the age of 20 he started to coach in Lyon before he moved to Montreal in 2014 to team up with co-coaches Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon. Together they have created the Ice Academy of Montreal - the most successful ice dance center in the world.
Romain is an accomplished motivational speaker on creating winning teams and designing high-performance cultures.
